Hi, yes we were aware of this research and I have spoken with a contact there involved with the work. I am currently working on a project called the Rural Community Carbon Network -RCCN- (see www.ruralaction.org.uk) and I hope that the research results may help to inform us about online social networking amongst rural communities in Scotland and also perhaps identify some more community energy projects that could join the RCCN.
